Notes to quiz
Turn your notes into a quiz
Paste lecture notes, a study guide or anything you typed. You get fill-ins, multiple choice and “explain why” questions — each with the line in your notes it came from.
You will sign in with Google or Apple on the next screen. Your text is passed to the app, held for at most an hour, then deleted. AI-generated — check answers against your notes.
What you get
Ten questions that make you retrieve, not recognise.
Four fill-ins or short answers, three multiple choice with distractors that could be true, two “explain why” and one applied question. Every one carries an explanation and its source line, so you can check the AI against your own notes in a second. Missed questions go to your mistake notebook and return tomorrow, in three days, in a week — in a new form each time.
Money or effort already spent that cannot be recovered is called a ____ cost.
Sunk costs are gone whatever you do next, which is exactly why they should not steer the next decision.
How to make a quiz from your notes
Paste your notes
Typed notes, a study guide, a copied article — one topic or chapter at a time works best. Up to about 45 pages (20,000 words) per quiz.
Sign in and generate
Google or Apple sign-in, then the quiz is written from your text in about half a minute. 3 quizzes a month are free.
Answer, check, repeat
Mark how sure you are, answer, read the source line. What you miss comes back on a schedule until you get it right three days running.
Questions about notes to quiz
How do I turn my notes into a quiz?
Paste your notes above and press “Make my quiz”. You will sign in (Google or Apple), the quiz is generated from your text, and you take it right away. Typed notes, lecture notes, a study guide or a copied article all work.
Can I make a quiz from notes for free?
Yes, 3 quizzes a month on a free account. Re-taking a quiz or drilling your mistake notebook is always free.
How long can my notes be?
Up to about 45 pages, or 20,000 words, per quiz. If you paste more, the page tells you and offers to use the first 45 pages. Shorter, focused notes make better quizzes than a whole semester at once.
Can I turn notes into flashcards instead?
Each question becomes a card in your mistake notebook when you miss it, and comes back on a schedule — that is the flashcard loop, without making the cards yourself.
What does “source line” mean?
For every question, TakaQuiz keeps the sentence in your notes that the answer came from and shows it with the explanation. If the AI misread something, you see it immediately.
Do my notes get stored?
Your text is held for up to one hour while it is passed to the app, then deleted. The quiz made from it is saved to your account. See the privacy policy for details.
